Bamboo is a natural and renewable plant, which can be made from a soft, viscose material. It was first used for clothing in the 20th century and was originally produced in China - where it still comes from today.

Bamboo is naturally resistant to pests and can help rebuild wasteland. Ours is organically grown without chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides.

It only takes him 3 months to reach maximum height. The root network is so large that once the bamboo has been harvested it does not need to be replanted - instead it just grows right back.

Sodium hydroxide and carbon disulphide are used to process the bamboo plant into fiber.
The leaves and wood shoots are soaked in this material; a process also known as hydrolysis alkaliisation. -
Now the heavy and crushed bamboo solution, forced through improvised pumps with tiny holes, is a bit like a shower head.

It is then separated into threads to be spun, dyed and woven into fabric.
