How is the content created?
Seaweed is from nature and there is a lot of it in our ocean ecosystems.
We want to keep it that way. By harvesting only the regenerating part of the plant every four years, the seaweed is not damaged and actually encourages regrowth. This ensures the sustainability of the plant and the material.
The untreated seaweed is crushed and ground, then mixed with sustainable wood pulp fibers to create this unique material. It is a closed loop process - no waste and no chemicals used.
